The Faint Blue Galaxy is Brad Prenda and Jeremy
Prevost. Our musical collaboration began in 1994 with the band Aleutian.
In 1999, while Aleutian was disolving, we began shifting our focus from
touring and live performances to a studio oriented project.
Three years of writing and recording in our home studio in Chicago has
produced a diverse catalog of recorded material. Ethereal and psychedelic,
the music converges elements of electronic drums, keyboards, and tonal
sampling with more traditional guitar, bass, and subtle pop melodies.
Our CD is now available for purchases. Why not buy
it? You know you
want it. Haven't heard a sampling of what's on the CD? Listen
to some tracks before committing your hard earned cash on our downloads
page.
Images from the Hubble Space Telescope Medium Deep Survey that covers
a larger area of sky, are allowing astronomers to solve the longstanding "faint
blue galaxy mystery" by showing the true nature of these remote
objects. Deciphering the formation and evolution of these blue dwarf
galaxies may provide new clues to understanding the process of galaxy
evolution, including the formation of our Milky Way Galaxy. -- Windhorst,
